실험실 소개

수의전염병학실험실은 바이러스성 질병과 조류(닭과 오리 등)의 질병을 연구하여 산업동물의 다양한 질병을 예방 및 치료하는데 목표를 두고 있는 분야이다 (The Veterinary Infectious Disease Laboratory is aimed at preventing and treating various diseases of industrial animals by studying viral diseases and avian diseases (chicken and ducks, etc.).

연구내용

  • 인수공통전염병으로 사회적 관심이 많은 조류인플루엔자 바이러스에 대한 검사 등 ( Diagnosis of avian influenza virus, which is one of great infectious viruses in poultry).
  • 조류(닭과 오리)질병에 대한 면역학 (특히, Th17)에 대한 연구 (Studies on immunology (especially Th17) against bird (chicken and duck) diseases).
  • 닭의 콕시듐(Eimeria)의 억제하기 위한 천연물질을 이용, 백신개발 등 (Use of natural substances to inhibit coccidiosis (Eimeria) in chickens and vaccine development, etc.).
  • 닭에서 염증성 반능을 일으키는 면역반능에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 또한 오리에서 염증성 반응을 심각하게 유발하는 리메렐라에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있다 (We are conducting research on immune reactions that cause inflammatory reactions in chickens. He is also conducting research on duck Riemerella infection, which causes severe inflammatory reactions in ducks.).
