The Department of Early Childhood Education at Gyeongsang National University aims to cultivate competent early childhood education experts by acquiring expertise necessary as early childhood education teachers and practicing on the educational field. To this end, field-oriented practical education such as early childhood education theory and early childhood health education, early childhood art education, and early childhood music education are specialized to cultivate early childhood education experts with personality, expertise, and creativity.
In particular, this department has various practical environments such as cooking labs, creative formative art labs, teaching materials and tools production labs, mathematics and science labs, and environment labs to connect early childhood education with observation practices through national kindergartens and GNU workplace nursery. Therefore, we are striving to cultivate creative early childhood teachers who can actively cope with the changing era environment with educational content and teaching and learning methods in preparation for the future society.
