History is a study aimed at human self-awareness. The purpose is to examine the process of human change, analyze existing social problems, and recognize the specificity and universality of human existence to seek indicators and directions of behavior.
In our history department, human history is classified into Korean history, Eastern history, and Western history, and the history of each field is compared and highlighted. It also strives to foster students with the right perception of history to contribute to social development and cultural creation.
Every semester, historical sites are explored, and historical sites are excavated to help inspire interest in history.
The history department aims to cultivate talented people with both historical understanding. The curriculum of the history department helps you have a new perspective on things. Due to the nature of history, there are many researchers, and in addition, excellent talents such as journalists and journalists have been produced. Historical students can then go to graduate school and devote themselves to more in-depth academic research, and use their abilities to enter various social fields such as public officials, teachers, media and publishing, record managers, research institutes, and museums.
