The Department of Mathematics at GNU is devoted to educating both undergraduate and graduate students in high-level mathematics.
The educational goal is to cultivate people with mathematical ability, such as mathematicians and secondary school teachers.
The Department offers Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.The Department’s faculty have interests in many areas of mathematical sciences, such as Algebra, Real and Complex Analysis, Algebraic and Differential Geometry, Probability Theory, and Applied Mathematics.
The faculty conducts research that supports the on-going theoretical development of mathematical sciences and that simultaneously promotes the interdisciplinary use of mathematics in science, engineering, and other fields.
