Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering at Gyeongsang National University was founded in 2009 as the first department of a national university. 

To foster human resources with the ability to lead the Biohealth industry, we educate expertise related to the chemical pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, functional cosmetics and health functional food.

The educational objectives of Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering is as follows. (1) Training for common competencies of Biohealth industry (2) Training for Expertise required for Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) (3) Training for Executive ability required for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry (4) Fostering human resource who contribute to society and Biohealth industry.
