Procedures for registration and admission

Required Documents

  1. 01Application form (with a passport photo): Form 1
  2. 02A Letter of Self-introduction (one A-4 size written by hand): Form 2
  3. 03A latest graduation certificate (issued within the past 3 years, notarized and certified by the Korean consulate)
  4. 04A certificate of latest academic record (issued within the past 3 years, notarized and certified by the Korean consulate)
  5. 05A Certificate of Family Registration(A Notarized Certificate of Family Relations)
    • For applicants whose parents are divorced or dead, hand in a divorce certificate or a death certificate.
    • A copy of an applicant's family registry(CHINA)
      For applicants who are listed in a different family registry with parents, hand in a notarized certificate of family relations too.
  6. 06A document of Financial Resources
    • a bank balance proving over 8,000,000won held up for at least six months issued by applicant’s or parents’ name
  7. 07A document of parent's employment and income statement for the past one year
    • Document issued in a standard company format(Including company number and address)
    • In the case of self-employed business owner, hand in a copy of business license.
  8. 08A copy of Identification Card: both applicant's and parents' ID(or a copy of passport)
  9. 09A copy of an applicant's passport
  10. 102 copies of an applicant's passport photo (3.5cm × 4.5cm, identification photos taken in the past 6 months)

    Document No. 1 and 2 must be written in Korean or English.

    Document No. 3 and 4 must be translated into Korean or English, notarized, and then certified by the Korean consulate.

    Documents not in Korean or English should be translated into Korean or English and notarized.

    Additional documents can be required for its screening.

    Submitted documents will not be returned.

Notes on the submission of graduation certificate

  1. 01If your home country is a member of the Apostille Convention, please submit an Apostille confirmation letter.
  2. 02If your home country is not a member of the Apostille Convention, please submit a confirmation letter from the Korean Embassy.
  3. 03For those graduating from high school in China
    • Submit a report on academic credentials through an agency(accredited by the Ministry of Education in China)
    • Application method: By 省 agency, Beijing Center for Academic Accreditation, Seoul Confucius Academy (Official certification agency in Korea)
    • Required period: 20~30 days

Information on Cancellation of Admission, Refund, and Other Regulations

  • Admission is revoked for the applicant who fails to get a visa number according to the regulations of Immigration Office, Ministry of Justice, Republic of Korea.
  • Admission is cancelled when the successful applicant does not pay the tuition by the due date.
  • Admission is cancelled if the details on the submitted documents are not true.
  • After admission, applicants should follow all the regulations and guidelines set up by SLE(the School of Language Education)
  • Submitted documents will not be returned.
