The Department of Mechanical System Engineering is a mechanical department that nurtures high-end technical personnel in advanced mechanical fields such as ship engines, industrial machinery, transportation machinery, shipbuilding and offshore plants.
Educational goal
The Department of Mechanical System Engineering researches and teaches the expertise and technology of automation systems related to mechatronics (mechanics and electronics) as well as the design, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of marine and industrial machinery, and develops advanced shipbuilding/marine machinery technologies in the 21st century. We aim to nurture competent talents who can play a role in the development of the domestic water and marine industry and the national economy by managing strict quality of marine equipment to nurture marine engineers who operate water and marine vessels.
