Scholarship

• Scholarship Type: Research Scholarship
  • The amount of scholarship is equivalent with tuition fees.(One of the requirements in the table on the next page must be satisfied to apply for a scholarship.)
• Eligibility: Full-time students obtained their previous degree within the past five years.
• Amount
  • 1st and 2nd semesters : Full amount of scholarship
  • 3rd and 4th semesters (including 5th to 8th semesters of “Master’s + Doctoral” program) : Full amount if 1↑ of the fellowship renewal selection criteria by each degree program is fulfilled.
• Method: Upon receipt of tuition payment and completion of fellowship selection, the amounts will be transferred to a student’s account.
• Criteria
  • Full-time student recommended by his/her department head or academic advisor

    Recommendation letter must be sent from the academic department to the Graduate School Office after the final decision

  • Research paper requirements of the table below should be met within six months upon program completion.(Master’s students) and prior to submission of the dissertation paper (Doctoral students)

    Written pledge to fulfill these requirements must be submitted to the academic department upon their arrival after successfully admitted.

• Others
  • The amount of scholarships and number of scholarship beneficiaries are subject to change according to school budget without prior notice.
  • Other details shall comply with Gyeongsang National University Graduate School Scholarship Guideline and related standards.

Full-time Fellowship Requirements by Program / Academic Field

Research scholarship beneficiaries will not be eligible for other on-campus or off-campus scholarships including BK21 FOUR project scholarship.

Only full-time students* will be eligible for on-campus scholarships. In order to prove their full-time status, applying students must submit a certificate of four social insurance membership – this certificate can be issued once you come to our campus.

A D-2 visa holder will be also considered as a full-time student.

Off-Campus Scholarships

Brain Korea(BK) 21 FOUR Project Scholarship

BK(Brain Korea) 21 FOUR Project Scholarship beneficiaries will not be eligible for any types of on-campus scholarships including research scholarships.
