The 21st century's new era of the ocean aims to peacefully utilize and preserve the sea, enhance marine environmental conservation, manage fisheries resources, and develop marine resources to establish a world-class maritime power. The Department of Maritime Police Systems is dedicated to advancing maritime policing in line with the international maritime order and fostering talents essential for the advanced maritime and fisheries industry.
Career after graduation
After graduation, you can pursue various career paths, including special recruitment for maritime police officers (patrol officers, chief officers, petty officers, female officers), candidates for maritime police officers, special recruitment for foreign language officers, general police officer candidates, regular police officers, female police officers, and 7th and 9th-grade general administrative positions. Additionally, opportunities exist in advanced navigation officers (possible exemption from military service), positions in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, marine-related research institutions, Maritime Safety Tribunal, customs officials, fisheries guidance officers, cooperative employees, shipping companies, fisheries companies, seafood distribution companies, shipyard inspectors, and pursuing graduate studies.
