Agricultural Engineering is a fascinating field that uses engineering principles to enhance rural environments and optimize national land resources. This multidisciplinary discipline encompasses irrigation and drainage engineering, agricultural land engineering, farm structures, and environmental engineering. Along with fundamental courses such as mathematics, physics, and mechanics, students also take specialized courses in surveying, hydrology, reinforced concrete, soil mechanics, hydraulics, agricultural meteorology, irrigation and drainage, tidal land reclamation, construction methods, and farm structures. The department offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in engineering, providing ample opportunities for students to expand their knowledge and expertise. Department of Agricultural Engineering students are eligible for government-authorized professional licenses in civil engineering, construction material testing, pollution environment, geodetic and/or cadastral surveying, paving the way for promising and rewarding career paths.
