Notice for Doctoral Degree Recipients: Participation in the 2025 Academic Year Spring (76th) Commencement Ceremony
A. Commencement Ceremony Information Date and Time: Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Venue: Main Auditorium, 2nd Floor, GNU Convention Center, Gajwa Campus B. Important Guidelines for Doctoral Degree Recipients All participants must arrive at the ceremony venue and be seated by 09:20 a.m. on the day of the event for attendance confirmation. Doctoral gowns must be prepared individually by each recipient. Gown changing area: OPEN LAB, 1st Floor, GNU Convention Center During the ceremony, photos of doctoral degree recipients will be displayed on the screen. Photos registered in the academic information system will be used. If the current photo has poor resolution or facial recognition issues, students must request a photo change through their department. (※ If you do not consent to the use of your photo, the university emblem will be displayed instead.) * Please log in to my.gnu.ac.kr → General Information System and check your registered photo. ** Photo change requests are accepted until: Thursday, February 12, 2026, 18:00. Changes will not be accepted after this deadline under any circumstances. [English Name Confirmation for Degree Certificate] Since the doctoral degree certificate will be issued in English, any request to correct or change the English name must be submitted to your department by: Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 18:00 (This is required due to external printing of degree certificates.)
