The Department of AI Information Engineering aims to foster active and creative ICT experts who have both theory and practice of the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution in the 21st century's cutting-edge knowledge-based information society and contribute to national development.

To this end, we are conducting specialized education and research on cutting-edge information and communication theory, various IT convergence technologies, and various smart devices, and are constantly developing and operating industry/academia/research cooperation programs.

In addition, the undergraduate course combines basic theoretical education with various experiments and practices (programming, etc.) and provides field-oriented education through field training using winter and summer vacations. Moreover, we are actively participating in the Industry-Academia Collaboration Leading University Project (LINC 3.0) and the National University Development Project hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.

In the case of graduate school, international research capabilities, industry-tailored technology development capabilities, and convergence are achieved through various research activities such as carrying out ICT-related research projects with advisors and publishing papers in internationally renowned academic journals, as well as participating in international academic conferences. We are striving to cultivate world-class ICT experts with a sense of humor.
