 Entering Degree Thesis Title: Mid-April/Mid-October (Enter directly into the Next-Generation System)

 Payment of Thesis Examination Fee

- Examination Fee: Master's 100,000 KRW, Doctoral 300,000 KRW

- Payment Method:

 Bank Account: Nonghyup Bank 301-0169-0928-91, Gyeongsang National University

 Payment Deadline: End of April/End of October

 Payment Method: Bank transfer or online banking (indicate your student number)


Thesis Examination Schedule

Recommendation by Thesis Examination Committee Members

 Composition of the Examination Committee: Article 9 (Thesis Examination Committee) 

  of the Graduate School Degree Conferral Regulations

- Master's: Comprising at least 3 members including the advisor (with at least 2 full-time faculty members)

- Doctoral: Comprising at least 5 members including the advisor (with at least 3 full-time faculty members)

 Including adjunct professors, invited professors, and external experts in the relevant field 

  (holders of doctoral degrees)

- Chairperson of the Examination Committee: Chosen from the committee members excluding the advisor

 Recommendation Date of the Examination Committee: End of April/End of October

 

Thesis Presentation

 Period: Early May/Early November

 Hosted by: Each department should take responsibility for developing and implementing a comprehensive 

  presentation plan

 Each department head should ensure that examination committee members attend the presentation 

  to conduct a comprehensive assessment

 Research Ethics Pledge: Submit it to the Graduate School Administration Office by mid-May/

  mid-November after compilation by the department

 

Submission of Thesis for Examination

 Thesis Writing Guidelines: Refer to the Thesis Writing Guidelines

 Submission Method and Period for Evaluation of the Thesis

- Thesis for Examination: Edit your thesis in A4 format and submit 3 copies for masters 

  and 5 copies for doctoral to your advisor for delivery to the examination committee.

 Submission Deadline for Thesis Examination: End of May/End of November


Thesis Examination: Article 10 (Thesis Examination) of the Graduate School 

Degree Conferral Regulations

 Plan independently established by the departments

 Thesis Examination and Oral Examination: June/December

- The thesis examination is held at least once for Master's candidates

- For Doctoral candidates, a preliminary examination is followed by at least 2 thesis examinations 

  under the supervision of the committee chairperson

- The oral examination is conducted in parallel with the thesis examination

 

Deadline for Submission of Thesis Examination and Oral Examination Result Report: 

End of June/End of December


Thesis Submission Period: Mid-July/Mid-January

 Submission Target: Final passers of the thesis examination result report

 Degree Thesis (Printed Version): Standardize in A4 (210x297mm), using paper of at least 80gsm 

                                            and white matt printing

 -Submission to the Graduate School

01. 1 copy of the degree application form (Master's, Doctoral) 

02. 1 original copy of the completed thesis with approval stamp (to be submitted to the library 

     after verification by the Graduate School)

03. 1 copy of the plagiarism check result 

04. 1 copy of the completion certificate of the doctoral degree survey
