  - Objective: Promote international academic exchange and build global human network through graduate student participation in international conferences- Once per quarter (4times a year)- Eligibility: Graduate students enrolled in the general graduate school who will either give an oral presentation at an offline international conference or participate in a conference with a full paper (minimum four pages) that has passed peer review- Application method: Apply through the Department- Grants: Overseas round-trip airfare (economy class) and conference registration fee totaling 2,000,000 won/person T. 772-0096

• Joint International Research Award (Core Competency: Global) 

  - Objective: Encourage graduate students who have participated in joint international research and produced research results- Once per semester- Eligibility: Lead author1 of (SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI) papers2 including an overseas researcher3 in International journal publications4 during the specified   time period51 Papers written as an enrolled graduate student or postgraduate research student at Gyeongsang National University are recognized.2 Overseas researchers affiliated with Korean institutions are not eligible3 Pre-publication date can be applied if the Internet publication and print publication have different dates (separate proof required)4 Papers to be recommended for the Young Pioneering Researchers Day in the current semester are not eligible for application5 Papers published while enrolled in our university’s master’s program as a graduate or doctoral student during the designated period- Application method: Apply through the Department- Incentive: 700,000 won/person (additional 300,000 won for the best paper recipient) T. 772-0099

  - Objective: Graduate students from multiple departments and majors autonomously form teams, come up with and operate startup ideas or convergence research topics- Once per semester- Application eligibility: Three or more enrolled graduate students with multiple departments and majors, including Junior research faculty*  * Academic research professor, senior researcher, researcher- Application method: Apply through the Department- Grants: 1,000,000 won per team(materials, meeting fees)- Incentives: Incentive payment for teams to present at international conferences (500,000 won—conferences with participation from 4 or    more countries) and national conferences (300,000 won—national conferences registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea) T. 772-0097

• Full-time Scholarship 

  -Full-time scholars: Students without a job selected to assist professors in research and teaching, classified as the next generation of                            scholars (those who have earned their previous degree within 5 years of their admission date) -Recommendation criteria① Students enrolled for full-time course without a job and are selected by the recommendation from their academic advisor.② Students who will fulfill their obligations under their full-time scholarship award.③ Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the previous semester.④ From the 3rd semester, only students who meet the selection criteria for continued payment will be selected.-Payment of scholarship: Full tuition coverage However, starting with the freshmen in 2026, tuition payments will be adjusted on a per-semester     basis: 1st semester (paid in full), 2nd semester and beyond (70% tuition paid) * Recipients are not eligible to receive multiple tuition scholarships concurrently from internal and external programs.-Fulfillment of obligations: Students must fulfill affiliate-specific obligations under the Graduate Scholarship Award Guidelines T. 772-0088

• Overseas Scholar Invitation Support Project 

  - Objective: Support for airfare to invite overseas scholars to revitalize research exchanges with overseas scholars, strengthen human networks, and create a foundation for attracting international students- Period: Varies according to department- Participation eligibility: Enrolled students at Gyeongsang National University (undergraduate and graduate students)- Application eligibility: Overseas scholars who are affiliated with our university’s exchange agreement institutions in the Asian, North American, and Oceanian regions and are visiting our university for seminars, lectures, and conference presentations Provide event support to hosting departments, such as inviting overseas scholars who are affiliated with Gyeongsang National University’s overseas exchange agreement institutions* to visit our university for seminars, lectures, and conference presentations. * Universities and research institutes with exchange agreements in the Asian, North American, and Oceanian regions T. 772-0099
