Department of Ocean Civil Engineering
The Department of Ocean Civil Engineering educates competent civil engineers to help build infrastructure at home and abroad.
It provides extensive curricula in all areas of civil engineering, including coastal disaster prevention, structural engineering, hydraulic engineering, geotechnical engineering and suyvey. As stated in the department's name, it specializes in training ocean civil engineers involoved in ocean construction, which accounts for two-thirds of the Earth.
The Department of Ocean Civil Engineering fosters experts who will be responsible for future offshore construction in Korea.
