The Department was established in 1972 to foster secondary Korean language school teachers.
As many as 1,200 students graduated from the Department over the l past thirty years, and they are working in education circles and mass media across the country. Words and writings are the basis and driving force of life. Because it not only shapes our spirit, it builds our society and reveals the world around us. The students learn everything from the basic knowledge about words and writing to the latest cutting-edge knowledge, so that our lives and knowledge flourish.
