실험실 소개

수의산과학 실험실은 임상접근을 위한 인공수정과 줄기세포치료에 관한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 
첫 번째로 소, 돼지의 난자에 체세포 및 줄기세포를 공여세포로 이식하여 난자의 핵치환기술을 적용하고 이렇게 형성된 수정란 및 복제동물에서 염색체 이상과 유전자 발현을 비교하고 있습니다. 또한 난자의 체외배양, 체외수정을 이용한 인공수정 기술은 난임 또는 번식장애 극복에 도움을 줄 수 있습니다. 
두 번째로 다양한 조직기원의 줄기세포를 분리 및 구축하여 줄기세포치료제에 관한 연구를 수행중에 있습니다. 줄기세포는 탁월한 분화능 및 면역조절능력을 가진 효능성이 검증된 세포로 신경, 뼈, 피부와 같은 재생치료 또는 자가면역질환과 같은 면역매개질환에 적용될 수 있습니다. 
나아가 줄기세포는 환축으로부터 비교적 비침습적으로 분리해 낼 수 있어 개 중간엽 줄기세포주를 이용하여 환자맞춤식 세포치료가 가능하며 이에 관한 연구를 수행 중에 있습니다.
