Welcome to the College of Engineering at Gyongsang National University's Website !

For the past 40 years, the College of Engineering at Gyeongsang National University has played a pivotal role in the development of the local industry by nurturing competitive talents and promoting vigorous industry-academic collaboration.

In 1977, the Departments of Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering were newly established within the College of Science and Engineering at Gyeongsang National University. By 1981, the College of Engineering was launched with three departments, including Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Ceramic Engineering. Since then, the College has consistently cultivated outstanding technical experts recognized in industries, academia, and research institutes through industry-focused education and specialized high-level personnel programs. Moreover, the exemplary research team of the College of Engineering has produced numerous globally recognized research achievements through their relentless efforts.

Currently, the College of Engineering at Gyeongsang National University, the largest college within the university, boasts 130 faculty members with high educational and research capabilities and 5,000 competent undergraduate and graduate students. As we transition into the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we are deeply committed to advancing education and research in the field of cutting-edge convergence technology.

To realize this, we emphasize tangible education through active communication between professors and students, industry-customized research by collaborating across multiple majors, joint education and research in tandem with industries in Jinju Innovation City and the Gyeongsangnam-do region, and fostering exchanges with premier universities in the USA and China. We aim to lead the present age as a pioneering College of Engineering.

Both engineering education and research are human endeavors, and they must contribute towards living a humane life. Every member of the College of Engineering will explore and share valuable engineering knowledge that enhances human life, always upholding the essential humanistic values of care and concern. To facilitate this, we aim to foster a collaborative culture where members gather, communicate, and support each other. By collecting valuable opinions from both inside and outside the college, refining administrative services, and providing diligent feedback, we'll ensure that our college's members are invigorated in their pursuits.

We earnestly seek your continued interest and guidance.

Thank you.
