Currently, using advanced science and technology, efforts are being made to engineer, design, and construct buildings that are comfortable, functional, and safe. Emphasis is particularly placed on education and research in the fields of materials and construction engineering, structural engineering, and environmental and facility engineering.
The Department of Architectural Engineering offers master's and doctoral degrees in architectural structural engineering, architectural construction engineering, and architectural environmental and facility engineering. Recognizing the importance of industry-academia collaboration, it also operates a professional graduate school.
Upon acquiring and developing specialized knowledge in engineering design and construction technology in the Department of Architectural Engineering, one can venture into various sectors of society.
The Department of Architectural Engineering participates in the industry-academia collaboration-centered university project and operates various programs such as English proficiency improvement, field training, internship programs, and practical courses through this project.
