- Renewable Energy Engineering aligns with the government's low-carbon green growth national objectives. It matches the global trend of increasing power capacity through renewable energy and the regional development plan of Gyeongsangnam-do, making the industrial development and expansion in this area essential.
- Currently, an educational program that merges academia and industry is required to foster advanced professionals for the master's course in Renewable Energy Engineering. Hence, faculty and lecturers from various affiliations aim to participate and operate the program.
