Electronic Engineering

The Department of Electronics Engineering aims to equip students with the ability to cope with the rapidly advancing electronics-related industries.

The Department of Electronics Engineering was established as the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in October 1984. In 1996, it was integrated into the Department of Electrical, Electronic Materials, and Control Measurement Engineering. However, it started anew as the Department of Electronics Engineering from 2010. Since producing its first batch of graduates in 1989, alumni from the department have found employment in major electronics and computer-related companies like Samsung, LG, Daewoo, and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). Currently, there are around 30 graduate students researching in their respective fields of specialization.

For the past 20 years, South Korea's electronics-related industries have been the driving force behind industrial advancement. They are expected to further develop and have a significant influence on future lifestyles. The primary goal of the Department of Electronics Engineering is to equip students with the skills and knowledge to navigate the rapidly progressing electronics industry. Additionally, the graduate school of the department is committed to the rigorous training of students, focusing on nurturing scientists, engineers, and educators who can contribute to the national economy.
