The College plays the role as the No. 1 economic growth engine in Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
College Affiliated with the Main Administration I is located in the Changwon National Industrial Complex and the Department of Mechanical Convergence Engineering fosters and supplies talented students required for industrial sites in line with the rapidly changing industries and to meet the future demand for R&D-related customized high-quality human resources. In addition, it will grow to be a cradle to develop global industrial technology including smart factories, IoT, and artificial intelligence based on mechanical industries.
Department of Mechanical Convergence Engineering
The Department fosters field-adapted/customized R&D talents with engineering knowledge and corporate practice by spatially integrating the corporate research institutes and universities of the Changwon National Industrial Complex.
After graduation, students’ career paths include sectors in mechanical industry, machinery and automobile industry, heavy industry (shipbuilding), electronics, construction, aviation and public enterprises.
