The Graduate School at Gyeongsang National University is growing not only as a global research university focused on specialized fields such as biotechnology, mechanical aeronautical engineering, and nanomaterials, but also has been producing many leaders who are respected and trusted for their abilities and character.
Our Graduate School was converted into a consumer-oriented school with a three-way system of open research-focused, research-focused and education-focused schools. Also, ties between bachelor’s and master’s degrees and the integrated master’s and doctoral courses discover outstanding talents early. We provide you with sufficient study infrastructures where you can cultivate your dreams and scientific creativity.
First, the graduate school was selected to be in the BK21 Program, which was established in 1999 by the Korean government to develop schools. . Many young excellent talented students have been cultivated under the second and third phases of the BK21 Program for the past 20 years with continuous government support.
Second, we secured large-scale national projects such as the National Core Research Center (NCRC), World Class University (WCU), and the Next-Generation Bio-Green Project to maintain global research competitiveness.
Third, we also attracted core research institutes supported by the Ministry of Education for global issue projects, such as the bio-agricultural industry, climate change response plan, green energy convergence, and plant signal system engineering.
Fourth, in the field of applied life sciences, since 2004, a double doctoral degree system has been implemented with well-known universities in the United States, such as Purdue University and University of Missouri.
